Dimly Lit Films was founded in 2009 by Maxwell O. Perry in order to provide a home to his various genre-themed short animation projects.

The company’s first film, “Frantic Undead,” was an official selection at the 2009 Dragon*Con Independent Short Film Festival. Dimly Lit’s second film, “Giant Squid,” has just finished production.
